Reminder: Meet in MA Bldg. 136 on Thursday

On Thursday, we will meet in the Medical Arts Bldg. Rm 136 for a session called "The Incarcerated Soul: Health and Restorative Justice." My sense is that this discussion will focus mostly on mental health issues. I'd like us to use this space this week to respond to the issues that arise in this discussion, but also to make connections between this presentation and The Emperor of Maladies. Why do we treat mental health differently than physical health? Or do we? Can you explore the differences between mental and physical suffering and its overlaps?
