Meursault

It is strange to see how Meursault has the same reaction and same emotions to the details of his day and his mothers death. One would expect some sort of reaction from anyone who just attended their mother's funeral but Meursault goes about his day as every other. Meursault even asks his girlfriend Marie out to the movies the next day as if nothing happened. He is very indifferent about situations and seems to lack emotion.
