Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Ronald cotton POV 2
What is happening to Ronald cotton is a strict sign of racism and social profiling. With the use of stereotypes. Reading about his past crimes kind of gave me a foreshadow that of course he would get convicted for this crime. The cops had already not liked him and what I think is thatbtheybused this rape as an opportunity to lock him up because they has strong feelings against him. Especially with the fact that he went out with a white woman. That makes the cops hurt even more because that's not socially acceptable and to them that might have been disrespectful. The all white jury was just a for sure sentenced to jail. That was a straight sign that he had no future and that the justice system is unfair and bias. Why did it have to be an all white jury? Why no black people ? With his record this was perfect to out him away
