Why do you use Why me? as the theme for Eng 102 Syllabus? And how does literature may related to the Theme after the completion of the collection of work that has been completed at the end of the semester. I think the theme is too direct because you will be focusing on why me. However with a theme that is general many subs topics can be formed which can led to different idea of literature may discussed to support the general topic of the theme. Also we have a chance to choose our own theme which makes it much easier to write about. For example if you choose a them "Technology" they are many subs topics that may use to focus on the main topic idea. Sub tops my include Disadvantages of technology, advantages of technology and how technology is used in medical field.

ReplyDeleteI actually thought that "Why me?" was a pretty broad theme, one that would allow us to look at a lot of different texts. I guess we'll see as we explore these texts over the course of the term.
