Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Richard III and "The third time my father tried to kill me and real life.

English 102
I think that Richard can be seen as innocent an a nice person by some but very insane by others. Richard, did many things that seemed insane crazy and no one else would do. He even took it to worse when he sent other people to kill or get rid of his brothers and may have seem like he was jealous. His jealousy and always wanting things for himself and for no one else but him made him seen crazy. Not only is this present in the play "Richard III" but its also present in real life and even in flash fictions. In one flash fiction in particular this is seen, in "The third time my father tried to kill me" the girl talks about the times her dad had tried to kill her. In many times, how he tried to do it and the details. mainly, we wouldn't think that a father would try and kill his own daughter but it did happen. In Richard III, no one imagined it either. No one would imagine that he would want his own family to be miserable and even go further to kill the husband of the queen, so he can be king and have the throne after he killed her husband. Many things go into mind, when you see someone who is jealous and only wants things for himself. Even in real life people get jealous for things they don't have and do anything to get it to them or go ahead and kill. In many shows they show this how people go to the extreme and do something they never thought they would because they did not seem like those type of people, but it does occur.
