My thoughts on shakespear and his writings

   In my personal opinion, I myself have not liked Shakespeare and his writings that much.  This is because of many of the things he seems to write to me seem to be difficult and hard to understand.  The way Shakespeare writes to me it seems confusing and if the book or the play has a certain theme I cant seem to understand what theme he is writing about and why he wrote it the way he did.   When he writes his plays and or novels, he tends to be on the non happy side more towards the dark side of literature.  Which in my opinion, everyone has there own type of writing and the writing they prefer to write about.  Shakespeare could do different genres in his plays and many could understand the language he writes, but it takes time for me to understand the direction in which he is trying to take his readers with his plays or stories.  Maybe, who knows he is trying to show that there are different genres in plays or different themes that people seem to like and will enjoy, wanting to hear more about.  He may seem to turn to the Gothic side or dark side part of writing so that the audience can see that not everything has to be a specific way when it is written.
