Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Ghost Cleans Himself up Before visiting the Monument of the of the War Dead

What patterns exist? What are the stanza like? The line breaks?

Each stanza in the poem has 4 lines  but the last stanza of the poem is only one line. The last line and stanza of the poem was "enfant-faced and en route to its grave." I think the purpose of this one line stanza is a reflection upon the speaker himself.
