Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Richard (iii) screening

I found interesting in the play that how Richard played his role so seriously that he convinced Anne to marry him. He took every step so smartly without leaving any traces behind. I was shock to see that how he killed his own brother so bruetly to just be a king. When Richard's goal came true to become a king he said that now his wife is sick and she would like to die. This was very shocking that  he was doing everything for his own sake and wasn't thinking about how others were feeling.
When Richard asked Anne to marry him ,she accepted his proposal in front of her dead husband. Richard was using her as a step to climb to the position of king. Richard played really smartly by agreeing Anne to marry him.
