Richard and himself

I agree with Priscilla  that Richard is definitely and completely self centered. All he truly cares about is himself. Even when you think he could be even the slightest interested in caring for someone he stabs them in the back. His manipulative personality is what got him to the throne. He's able to twist peoples brains with his words and portray himself as someone he's not. The main purpose for all his wrong doings is to achieve the throne and power. He didn't love Anne, he wasn't going to reward the people that did all his dirty work, he wasn't a kid lover, he wasn't nice to people, etc. He did anything and everything to get to the throne no matter how he did it and who he hurt. The last thing on his mind was remorse for anyone he may have hurt. He did what he had to do for himself.
