Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

Richard iii review

1     What does surveillance play in the film/play? Loyalty? Or something else you found interesting?

The film was played in London. Anne was not loyal to her dead husband because she married Richard right after even knowing that he killed him. Another thing that I found interesting was when everyone was at the dinner table and Anne’s sister was speaking out about how Richard killed her brother-in-law. In a fascist society you have to be aware of your surroundings because anyone can kill you to become something greater. An example would be how Richard is killing everyone to become and secure the throne. Also how Hasting is helping Richard so he can get some more power as well.
